LEGAL BASIS

The possibility of using cookies, information obligations and the need to obtain user consent to store and use the information contained in text files results from the Act of July 16, 2004, Telecommunications Law (Journal of Laws No. 171, item 1800, as amended). Article 173 of the aforementioned Act, which deals with cookies, in its current wording, is a consequence of the introduction of guidelines developed by the European Parliament into Polish law. The end devices of users using online services and the information collected on these devices are protected as part of the private sphere.

WHAT ARE COOKIES

Cookies, commonly known as "cookies," are IT data, including primarily text files, which are stored by the server on the end device of the user of the online service (such as a personal computer or another electronic device used to store and process information). Cookies usually contain the domain name of the website they come from, the time of storage on the end device, and a unique number.

Collection and use of information using cookies.

LACK OF ACCEPTANCE

In most cases, the web browser allows the storage of cookies by default on the user's end device. The user can change the cookie settings at any time to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to inform about their placement on the user's device each time. Detailed information on the possibilities and methods of handling cookies is available in the software settings of the web browser. Failure to change the cookie settings means that they will be placed on the user's end device, and thus, the information stored in the device will be accessed. Disabling the use of cookies may make it difficult to use some services on the website.
